Dawkins Road open space is a large grass area providing a useful area for local children to play. Native tree planting includes Poplar, Alnus and Pinus which is intended to provide privacy between the surrounding residential development and the adjacent factory units. A fenced children's play area includes a "kick about" goal post and is very popular with local children.
