Fair And Circus Licence
Who needs a Fairground or Circus Licence?
Any person who wishes to hold a fair or circus for the purpose of public entertainment must obtain a Fairground or Circus Licence from the Council.
Each year amusement fair and circus operators are invited to 'bid' for specific dates and venues, as shown below:

Licences are granted annually and are not transferable to any other operator once they have been issued.
The Council may suspend or revoke a licence at any time whenever they deem such suspension or revocation to be necessary in the interests of the public.
