Integration - Youth Project
The Integration Project is aimed at developing work with Young People aged between 13 and 21 who have disabilities and additional needs.The Borough of Poole Youth Service offer a number of activities for Young People with disabilities and additional needs as listed below:
Creekmoor Youth Centre Monday Night Club
Creekmoor Youth Centre run a club on a Monday night for young people aged between 13 and 16 with disabilites and additional needs. The club offers a social meeting place where you can participate in activities organised by the Youth Service.
There are opportunities to get involved in Borough-wide actiivities, such as Poole Park events and Summer projects.
This group works on a referral only policy and forms can be requested from our Senior Youth Worker, or Children and Young People's Social Care.
The Inclusion Forum
This is an action group of young people aged between 16 and 21 with disabilities and additional needs who are looking at their social needs, and issues of concern to them The group meet once a month from 7.00pm until 9.00pm and all are welcome to attend.
The group are consulted on a wide range of local and national issues, and attend the annual Youth Conference and Youth Parliament elections.
Neways Young People's Centre
We have a club for young people aged 13 to 21 with disabilities, additional needs and their invited guests is held on the first Wednesday of every month at Fourways Day Centre, Constitution Hill Road in Poole from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
It is a social meeting place. Activities are run by the Members' Committee that meets once a month. From this meeting place you will have extra social activities such as visits to the theatre, nights out and much more.
