Help when leaving care
We are committed to best outcomes for the young people in and leaving our care. We have a team of workers based in the Pathways Team at Children and Young people's Social Care who specialise in preparing young people for independence and helping and equipping them afterwards.
When a young person becomes sixteen the team help them to begin to plan for their future, including help with education, work, housing, health and money. This support continues until their twenty first birthday or beyond if they are still in education at twenty one. Please see our information about supported lodgings.
